RiverRafting

Rafting is teamwork. Only together can you make good progress and safely master the current and rapids.

But don’t worry, there are plenty of opportunities to chill out and enjoy nature. Rafting in the border triangle offers everyone in the group the opportunity to get their money’s worth. Those who are looking for action, but also those who want to take it a little easier.

Our Rhine

On four very different tours, our trained guides will lead you safely to your destination, allowing you to get to know the Rhine between Basel and Freiburg in an action-packed, but often also calm way. And all without time pressure. We are no longer in the Alps, but the Rhine in the border triangle (Switzerland, France, Germany) is definitely a very worthwhile river to go rafting on. This guarantees a real and unforgettable experience for the team. The summer water temperatures are a real added bonus. You can relax and drift alongside the boat and feel the power of the current directly.

Our boats

Raft is English and actually means raft in German. Depending on the size of the boat, our rubber rafts can accommodate 4 to 14 people. In addition, there is always one of our guides. They not only steer the boat, but also provide fun and action. Incidentally, our rafts are made by hand in the Czech Republic. Completely individual and according to our specifications.

A raft is very safe because it consists of several air chambers. These are protected by a very stable outer material. So, even if an air chamber should lose air, the raft is still buoyant. Naturally, our rafts are tested and approved by the relevant authorities.

The equipment

We attach great importance to quality at Rheinraft. Safety comes first.

Even if the Rhine between Basel and Freiburg does not demand everything from the equipment. Rafting is a sport that takes place on a flowing river. This should not be underestimated. And so wearing a life jacket is mandatory. Regardless of whether you are in the boat or floating alongside the raft. In bad weather, for example cool weather, there are also neoprene suits so that you don’t freeze. On the “Wild Rhine” tour, a helmet is also included.

Safe on the water

Despite all the fun. Safety is a must. Especially on and in the water. Only a safe tour is a good tour. Our guides are at home on the water. They paddle privately and professionally.
Rheinraft ensures that you are guided safely on our rafting tours through regular further training. A strict ban on drugs and alcohol applies to all rafters. We must exclude guests who are under the influence of drugs and alcohol from the tour.
