Beginner courses
Have you never held a canoe before or would you like to learn the basics of whitewater paddling? Our beginners’ courses introduce you to the sport step by step. We start with the basics: from sitting correctly in the canoe to the first paddle strokes in white water. We attach great importance to safety and provide you with the necessary know-how so that you feel safe at all times.

Our courses take place at two outstanding practice areas: the whitewater channel in Huningue and the Istein thresholds. Both offer ideal conditions for whitewater training and are right on our doorstep.

The whitewater channel in Huningue offers ideal conditions for all levels of experience on various sections. Beginners can take their first steps in white water in a protected environment, while advanced paddlers can refine their technique. With its different levels of difficulty, the canal is a perfect training ground for paddlers of all levels. - The Isteiner Schwellen
The Isteiner Schwellen are one of the best-known whitewater areas in the region and offer varied conditions for training. Here you can practise on real rapids and different current conditions. The thresholds are a real highlight for experienced paddlers, as they offer an exciting challenge and at the same time are beautifully embedded in nature.
